Hamleys Toy Store and Best for Kids entertained the Pretoria Best for Kids “Kids Judges” where they played in the Menlyn Park store as if they were at the north-pole in Santa’s workshop, overwhelmed by the amazing store itself and the many awe-inspiring toys. Any kid’s dream come true!
Our Kids played with toys, tested some of the new toys available this Christmas and had a great time with the friendly sales staff who were at their beck and call.

Today, with over 255 years of experience in bringing smiles and laughter to children, Hamleys is known and trusted all over the world. Hamleys Menlyn Park celebrated their 1st year at the mall on 24 November 2017.
WHAT OUR KIDS JUDGES PLAYED WITH AND TESTED AT HAMLEYS
With such a big choice of toys, the kids were busy playing all over the place. Hamleys toys are mostly aimed at babies and kids from 3 to 13 years of age, but we know that some teenagers will definitely a ball at Hamleys!
Some favourites were Racing Remote Cars, definitely the Paw Patrol Look out Deck Station, the always-a-winner Lego stand, and something we all want (even the grown-ups!) – a Drone Helicopter. Then there was a whole Boomerang Display, and a great hit was the Gigantic Keyboard Playmat.
They tested what seems almost to be like roller blades or skates, Zinc Street Gliders 5 + Light up Wheels attached to shoes and it was great fun!
WE BELIEVE OUR JUDGES WERE GOOD ENOUGH THIS YEAR TO POST THEIR WISH LISTS TO SANTA
Each Judge posted a “wish-list” to Santa consisting of 3 Toys on a beautiful “reach for a dream” postcard which they purchased for R10 each. In aid of Reach for a Dream, Hamleys matches R10 for each postcard as part of their donation. The kids now stand a chance to win their wish-list! Our Kids Judges made their choice after playing with all the toys in store on display.
