The Chef asked the kids to guess what the name was of a certain fruit … dragon fruit
After tasting the dragon fruit the kids learned how to make a healthy smoothie.. and it was off to the kitchen to try some new recipes
Our Best For Kids, kiddie judges were privileged to spend a day at the famous Tashas, now also at Menlyn Maine, to learn more about cooking and tasting recipes. They got insight into some secret ingredients to certain recipes which we can not give away here however much we ourselves would like to know what they are.
Chef Elze Roome firstly thought to challenge our kids by showing them a beautiful Dragon fruit giving them a chance each to guess what fruit it is and the most interesting answers were given, such as:
Cactus would have been our guess too if we did not know any better. (Ha-Ha)
